Just went here for the first time this week, and had a really good experience. The office staff were very capable, gave me realistic expectations on the time it would take to find out the problem, called around to find me a rental car, and arranged for me to pick up my car after hours. Repairs seem perfect.

They were quick and friendly, but I had kind of a disconcerting experience. After changing my oil they said that my threads were a bit stripped because someone over tightened it. He said they may be able to get a temporary plug that would fit, but that wasn't likely to work as an option. He said most likely we were going to have to replace the whole oil pan before too long, and that was going to cost several hundred dollars. I took it to my other guy, and he said he could get a longer plug that would reach up to the threads that hadn't been damaged by the shorter plug. It worked and I haven't had a problem since. I am glad I didn't listen to Easy Automotive's suggestion.

I found a used car at a dealership in San Rafael that I fell in love with. However, it was still a used car, and in order to make extra doubly sure it was safe to drive, I had to take it to a mechanic. This used car was going to be my very first car ever, so I had never been to a mechanic before (well, except for my parents', but he was all the way in San Francisco). After looking here on yelp, I decided to give this place a try. I found the car on Thursday, and wanted to get it checked out on Friday. So I called, just a mere half an hour before they were going to close Thursday night. The guy on the other end of the line (darn, I should have gotten his name!) first said they might not have time to see me, but then, he said if I could get it there first thing in the morning Friday, they'd make time to take a look at it. I got there as early as I could, and without missing a beat, they took my car key and drove it into their garage. An hour later and a very thorough inspection later, they told me it was a great car to buy. So I did. :D These guys were awesome. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Easy Auto came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! They were very friendly and even dropped me off at work and picked me up when my car was ready. The service was efficient and comprehensive. They explained everything that was included in the 90,000k service and didn't try to add any extra "add-ons". They even threw in a discount coupon that I didn't know anything about when I brought the car in! Great people on staff there. This is the first review I've ever written and I just wanted to say "thanks" and I will definitely be going back from now on.

Took my clunker in to get an oil change today. I'de been going to a different garage for 10 years, but my last few experiences there were less than stellar and super-expensive. I'd normally pass over a shop by this name (too cheesy for my taste), but it was recommended by a friend, and I needed this done asap. They originally said they were booked up, but found me a spot on my requested day with zero notice. I walked in and was greeted by an adorable low-key dog. The waiting room is clean, and practically odorless. There are some snacks and coffee out, and tons of trashy mags lying around. And the waiting room was FULL of women. I think at least 8 or 9 came in to drop off or pick up cars while I waited, and there were 2 working the desk. And the best thing, I was literally in and out in 35 minutes. I had also found a coupon online, icing on the cake. My only beef was that they left my driver's side window down a bit, and parked it in the rain. If it had taken longer to pay, I would've been seriously irked. Overall, great, quick, clean, and inexpensive. Definitely my go to oil change shop in the future.

I just went for the first time for an oil change and got new front brakes too. Their prices are good, they're nice and they have a gorgeous doggy at the office on Thursdays! I'll be taking my Honda to them from now on.

Unfortunately, I have to remove a star. I called regarding the $29.95 oil change advertised on Yelp. I drive a 96 Volvo 850 and asked for an oil change. They said "they don't work on any European cars." I was surprised. I have changed the oil on this car myself, but I can't now that I live in a busy apartment complex. She did not offer a reason as to why even though I said it is a simple job. This was kind of frustration seeing how almost all oil changes are the same. They did offer the number to a European car specialty place. ( I don't recall the name.) When I called they also said they do not work on Volvo. I told her all you do is drain the oil, change the filter and refill it just like any car. She told me they do not have the technology to do it and they can't reset the service light. I told her I didn't care and then she quoted me a price around $90. Other than that, Easy Automotive is still a great shop....just not if you own a Volvo.

I've used Easy 2x in the past 2 months. Overall take: honest, fair, great service, helpful front desk, quick to get back to you. Cost in line with others They made a small "goof" on one repair (didn't tighten what they shoulda) which rendered the car useless. They took care of the problem immediately at no inconvenience to me (sent two people to my house to pick up the vehicle, shuttled it back after the re-repair). Will be seeing them again.

So Honest! I took my car in to Easy Automotive thinking I needed a new alternator. It turned out I only needed coolant added. These people are so great. I will use them for all my car needs. Clean, shuttle service, friendly.
