Here’s a huge shout-out for Easy Automotive in San Rafael. My wife and I had a warranty problem with a certified three-year-old Toyota Hybrid Avalon we bought in Texas. The Texas dealer refused to pay to have the not-uncommon problem fixed, the San Rafael dealer refused and national Toyota refused. So we took the car to Easy Automotive, where it was fixed fast and at half the dealer-quoted price. We’re not the first to praise Easy Automotive – I used to sign their many winning Best of Marin certificates when my wife and I owned the Pacific Sun. They are still the best.

If you own Japanese cars especially, this is the place to go. They are very professional and honest. I've used their services for more than 10 years. I never feel like they push me to fix/replace anything that is not broken like many other dealers do. They did a great job and I highly recommended it.

Laurie and Roman are awesome. They not only fixed my car, they restored my faith in humanity. After I was treated badly at Toyota Marin (see review the same day as this review), I found Easy Automotive on Yelp, called and spoke with Laurie, and instantly began to believe in people again. She was full of empathy about my problem, as well as expertise, a great combination! I brought my pampered low mileage 2004 Prius in to their spic-and-span shop, where I was treated politely and warmly, and they quickly discovered and fixed the problem - an unplugged wire for my cigarette lighter, which Toyota Marin not only failed to find after changing the fuse, but wanted $175 to further diagnose! As a newcomer to Marin, you made me feel glad I moved here. I feel confident you can help me keep my Prius going as long as I decide to keep treating it like an old American car in Cuba. I have been going to Easy Automotive for over 35 years and highly recommend them. They are honest and professional. I would not buy a car they did not service.

Just a review on professionalism. So these guys usually have a secondary party or whatever do anything tire related. got a recommendation on a couple local spots with real good deals. No BS, but you can just tell and be thankful when local guys recommend other local guys who do good work. Any other car related issues i have, i am coming to these guys in the future. Hard to find great car shops with legit awesome dudes.
